Who is the will for?

Three quick questions. Your fixed price shows on the next screen.

Your religion
Do you have a UAE Emirates ID?

A couple: answer yes only if both of you have one.

Who is making the will?

A married couple can be in one will, at the same price.

The short answer

If you are not Muslim and you own anything in the UAE, a will decides who gets it. Without one, the law decides for you: half to your husband or wife and half to your children, in equal shares. With 800 Business you get your will drafted, checked by you and signed with a notary through Dubai Courts, in person in Dubai or online by video call, for one fixed price with notary and court fees included.

What happens if you die without a will in the UAE

For non-Muslims, inheritance follows Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2022 on Civil Personal Status. Article 11 sets the split when there is no will:

Your familyWho inherits without a will
Spouse and childrenHalf to your husband or wife. The other half shared equally between your children, sons and daughters alike.
No childrenYour parents, in equal shares. If one parent has died, half goes to the other parent and half to your brothers and sisters.
No parentsYour brothers and sisters, in equal shares.

That split may not be what you want. Maybe your spouse should keep the home, or your children are still young. The same law says you can leave everything you own in the UAE to whoever you choose in a will. It also lets a foreign heir ask for a different law to apply to the estate, unless there is a registered will that says otherwise. A will removes the guesswork for your family.

Who this service is for

  • Non-Muslims living in the UAE with an Emirates ID.
  • Non-residents who own property, a bank account or a company in the UAE. No Emirates ID needed: your passport is enough.
  • Married couples who want one will for both of them, at the same price.
  • Parents who want to name a guardian for children under 18.

Wills for Muslims follow different rules, so this fixed-price service is for non-Muslims. If you are Muslim, book a free call and we explain your options.

What your will can cover

Your assets in the UAE

  • Your home or investment property
  • Bank accounts and savings
  • Your shares in a UAE company, including a Free Zone company
  • Cars and personal belongings

The people you choose

  • Your beneficiaries, with the share each one gets
  • Your executor, the person who carries out your will
  • A guardian for children under 18

Own a company with us? Your shares are part of your estate. Your will makes sure they pass to the person you choose, so the business can keep going.

How it works

  1. Get your fixed price. Answer three questions above. Your written quote arrives by email straight away.
  2. Confirm and pay. Reply to the quote or WhatsApp us. We send your invoice; you pay by card or bank transfer.
  3. Send your documents. The short list below, by email or WhatsApp. We check everything is complete.
  4. Review your draft. We draft your will from your instructions. You read it and ask for any change. Nothing is signed until you are happy.
  5. Sign with the notary. In person in Dubai, or online by video call. We book it and stay with you.
  6. Receive your notarised will. Keep it safe and tell your executor where it is.

Documents you need

  1. A copy of your Emirates ID, or your passport if you have no Emirates ID
  2. Your religion (this service is for non-Muslims)
  3. A passport copy of your executor, the person who will carry out your will
  4. Passport copies of all your beneficiaries, with the share (%) each one receives
  5. If you have children under 18: the name of the guardian you choose for them

That's all. You don't need a list of every asset with values: tell us what you own and who should get it, and we write it properly.

Sign in person or online

Wills in Dubai: common questions

Straight answers to what people ask us before they make their will.

Do I need a will in Dubai if I am not Muslim?

If you own anything in the UAE, yes. Without a will, UAE law decides who inherits: half to your husband or wife and half shared equally between your children. A will lets you decide who gets what, name an executor and choose a guardian for your children.

What happens to my assets in the UAE if I die without a will?

For non-Muslims, Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2022 splits the estate: half to the surviving spouse and half shared equally between the children, sons and daughters alike. With no children, it goes to your parents, then to your brothers and sisters.

How much does a will in Dubai cost with 800 Business?

A fixed price that depends on two things only: whether you have a UAE Emirates ID, and whether you sign in person in Dubai or online. It starts at AED 7,500 + VAT. Notary and court fees are included. The form on this page gives you your exact price in about a minute.

Can I make a will in Dubai without an Emirates ID?

Yes. If you own property, a bank account or a company in the UAE but do not live here, you can make your will with your passport. You can sign in person in Dubai or online by video call.

Can I sign my will online?

Yes. You sign with the notary on a video call, from anywhere in the world. We book the session and stay with you from start to finish.

Can my husband or wife and I make one will together?

Yes. A married couple can be in one will, at the same price as a single will.

Can I choose a guardian for my children in my will?

Yes. If you have children under 18, your will can name the person you want to look after them.

What documents do I need to make a will in Dubai?

Your Emirates ID or passport, your religion, a passport copy of your executor, passport copies of every beneficiary with the share each one receives, and, if you have children under 18, the name of their guardian.

Can I change my will later?

Yes. You can update or cancel your will later with a new notarised document. Tell us what changed and we quote the update.

Does my UAE will cover my assets in my home country?

We draft your will for your assets in the UAE. Keep your home-country will for assets there, and ask a lawyer in that country to check that the two wills do not contradict each other.

What about a DIFC will?

The DIFC Wills Service Centre is another option, with its own rules and fees. Our service uses the Dubai Courts route. If DIFC suits your case better, we tell you on the call.

Is this service for Muslims?

No. Wills for Muslims in the UAE follow different rules. Book a free call and we explain your options.
